Lake Navarino Holiday Park is a picturesque caravan and camping facility nestled in the Marri and Jarrah forests of the south-west. Bushfire Logic was engaged by the owners to prepare a comprehensive Bushfire Management Plan and Bushfire Emergency Evacuation Plan to support a retrospective development application for several of the onsite accommodation units. Given the intrinsic value associated with the location of the property within the forest, management of vegetation surrounding the Holiday Park wasn’t an option. Consideration was instead given to evacuation of guests and the management of the site.
